Alumni Event - Alumnus trying on simulation specs representing severe glaucoma

ICEH participated at the LSHTM Alumni Fund Event held July 10th 2014 at the LSHTM Library.

The purpose of this event was to say thank you to all of the alumni and students that helped with, or donated to the LSHTM Alumni Fund. Around 50 guests celebrated over £300,000 worth of funds that was raised primarily by students who volunteered to reach out and contact alumni.

Gifts last year supported many important projects including funding MSc Public Health for Eye Care summer project return flight funding 5 students from the 2013/14 cohort.

Alumni Event

MSc PHEC Course Director, Dr Cova Bascaran (far right) and ICEH Scholarships Administrator Romulo Fabunan (middle right) represented the Disability and Eye Health Group and demonstrated simulation spectacles that representated a blinding eye disease.
