We are deeply saddened to learn of the death of Her Majesty the Queen.

We are very grateful for the considerable support that Her Majesty gave to addressing avoidable sight loss worldwide. The Queen Elizabeth Diamond Jubilee Trust supported the Commonwealth Eye Health Consortium, a programme to help improve the eye health of people living in Commonwealth countries. Its benefits are still felt today, leaving a lasting legacy in honour of Her Majesty.
